To be or not to be, that is not the question for The Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival.

It’s happening from Aug. 17 to 27, for a new adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, which they call, Hamlet 50/50.

The Shakespeare Festival says that Hamlet 50/50 is designed to bring a new level of balance and quality to the production.

Instead of having female characters play male roles, the show is taking a different route. There will be a 50/50 balance between male and female characters.

There will be twelve performances at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.

Tickets range from $10 to $75.
