A 60-year-old man will soon attempt a swim across Lake Michigan.

Jim Dreyer will start at Bradford Beach in Milwaukee and will hope to finish at City Beach in Grand Haven, Michigan.

It’s an 82-and-a-half mile trek that he’s planning to complete in just three days.

WSBT says this will be his second Lake Michigan swim after he completed a 50-mile swim 25 years ago.

Dreyer believes that with currents, he will swim approximately 25 miles further, bringing his total to around 90 miles.
