It was a record-breaking year for the Elkhart County Fair.

Attendance was greater than ever, bringing in nearly 217,000 people.

That number was an increase of 6.8% over last year. Special events were held to celebrate this year being the 150th Elkhart County Fair, including daily parades, a cast iron skillet throwing contest, drone shows and more.

They say the 4-H program also broke records, raising over $1.5 million at auctions.

They’ve already started planning for next year’s fair, so you can mark your calendars for July 19th through 27th.
