A woman pleaded guilty in a case involving the death of her 4-year-old son.

Mary Yoder was aware of the ongoing abuse of the boy by his father, who was convicted of murdering him.

Yoder is charged with neglect of a dependent and domestic battery.

The father, Alan Morgan, was sentenced to 70 years in prison. Police say the home where the abuse occurred was filthy with garbage, rotted food, and animal fecal matter scattered throughout.

Three other children lived in the house. A malnourished dog was discovered locked in a crate.

The victim was found dead in the home in a dark cellar bound in duct tape.
