The City of South Bend is repossessing the Bare Hands Brewery property at the corner of Wayne and William downtown.

Thursday morning the Redevelopment Commission voted unanimously to approve the letter of default. The LLC now has 30 days to complete the facility they had intended to build at the site, or turn in the deed to the Commission.

Multiple extensions of the original construction agreement with the city have come and gone, the latest being September 1.

Bare Hands Representatives did not attend the meeting.
