The Mishawaka Fire Department is hosting an open house event on October 11th at Station 4 near Hums Elementary. Kids and their families will have the opportunity to meet firefighters, see their equipment, and ask questions.
The free event will also include station tours, a chance to try on fire fear, Kona ice, a bounce house, and a demonstration with fire extinguishers on a real fire.
The event is being held in cooperation with the School City of Mishawaka.
