Two Ligonier residents arrested after being stopped for traffic violations in Goshen

Two Ligonier residents were arrested after Goshen Police stopped a vehicle for two traffic violations near Pike Street and Indiana Avenue.

30-year-old Eduardo Puente was allegedly found driving while intoxicated and driving without a license and was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.

A 17-year-old passenger was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, but was released to a parent with a pending court date in the future.
