City of South Bend extends deadline for Business Security Grant Program

The City of South Bend has extended the deadline for the Business Security Grant Program through Friday.
The initiative will sponsor new technology installations or upgrades in storefronts across the city. Businesses can apply for up to $5,000 of funds for eligible expenses like cameras, cloud storage, or lighting.
Businesses interested in integrating their cameras with the Real Time Crime Center will be prioritized.
The Business Security Grant Program is funded by American Rescue Plan dollars. The grant deadline is now October 13, 2023.
Businesses can find out more information about assessments and the grant application by visiting //southbendin.gov/business-security-program. Businesses can register their existing cameras by visiting www.syncsouthbend.org
