A Bristol man is accused of setting fire to his former boss’ work vehicles.

39-year-old Robert A. R. Norman is charged with arson after police were told that Norman had threatened the victims, saying he was going to burn their house down.

One of the victims told police that Norman had been working for him but that he was fired due to poor work performance and drug use while working, according to the Goshen News.

Police had been called out on August 19 for the threats, and on August 20 the victim had a woman ring his doorbell to tell him that his backyard was on fire. There, his International 400 work truck and stump chipper was on fire.

Norman admitted to setting his own car on fire in the victim’s yard earlier that month, but has denied setting other vehicles on fire.

Norman’s jury trial is set for July 15.
