Warsaw man jailed after three-vehicle crash at State Road 19 and County Road 38

Three people were hurt, and one was arrested, after a three-vehicle crash at State Road 19 and County Road 38, north of Wakarusa.

The collision happened around 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, when Elkhart County Sheriff’s investigators say the driver of a Ford F 150 pick-up truck failed to stop at the stop signs and struck the passenger side of a Dodge Grand Caravan. The pick-up truck then spun into the intersection and into the path of a Chevrolet HHR.

Brandon Ditton, 26, of Warsaw, who was driving the pickup suffered a neck injury. He was taken to the Elkhart County Jail on preliminary charges of Driving while Suspended – resulting in Bodily Injury.

The other two drivers were treated for leg pain and internal injuries.
