UAW leaders are talking about the details of their new deal with the big three automakers.
The union says the deal includes a 25% wage increase and the end of wage tiers. WSJM reports that the UAW also won back a cost of living allowance for hourly and salaried employees.
UAW Vice President Mike Booth says the agreement has more wage increases than all of the bumps from the last 22 years combined. An 11% wage increase was immediate at the ratification of the contract.
