Suspect arrested in connection to Miami Street stabbing

A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a weekend stabbing that wounded a man on South Bend’s southeast side.

It was around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, when South Bend Police were called to the 1500 block of Miami Street.

On scene, officers found a man suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Through their investigation, police centered in on David Hagedorn, 49, as a suspect.

Hagedorn was arrested and has been charged with Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Battery.
