A Plymouth High School English language arts teacher has been awarded with the Milken Educator Award.

Josh Dingeldein is said to be seen cheering on his students daily, giving them high fives and fist bumps.

But, as he accepted the first Milken Educator Award in the school corporation, the roles reversed, and his students were cheering him on. Dingeldein will receive a $25,000 cash prize with the award, which he can use however he pleases.

Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley says Dingeldein develops a true love of learning in his students and guides his students to success.
