The University of Notre Dame will unveil a statue honoring Basketball Coach Muffet McGraw next month.

In a post on social media platform X, the university’s Women’s Basketball team hinted that they will unveil a statue in her honor at the Purcell Pavilion At The Joyce Center on December 17, when the Fighting Irish play host to Purdue.

McGraw, a 2017 Basketball Hall of Famer, compiled a record of 848-252 over 33 seasons at the helm of Notre Dame’s Women’s team. She coached the Irish from 1987 to 2020.
