A Marion County Superior Court judge has ruled Indiana’s law limiting who can be on a primary ballot is unconstitutional.
John Rust had filed a lawsuit to appear on the Republican primary ballot in the U.S. Senate race but currently is blocked because his last two primary votes weren’t with the Republican Party.
Rust called the ruling a victory for “the 80-percent who are banned from running for political office and I know they don’t like me saying that but it’s the absolute truth.”

The primary is a party election. For decades if you had a history of voting democrat you could not run as republican. If he loses in the primary for one party he also cannot run or be nominated to run in the other party in the same election.
How about NO REPUBLICAN vote for him. We have enough shenanigans going on so I will not vote for this clown.
John Rust is a Democrat. He voted as a Democrat.
He is running as a Republican so he can continue to vote like a Democrat, and he is depending on the voters not knowing who he really is. Jim Banks needs to make sure he points out who John Rust really is.
Rust is a crooked Democrat wolf in sheep’s clothing.
