Bears in the Air program to distribute over 2600 teddy bears

Over 2600 teddy bears will be provided to children in area hospitals.

It’s all part of the South Bend International Airport’s twelfth annual Bears in the Air program. On December 20 and 21, bears will be delivered by the airport’s CEO and Executive Director Mike Daigle and some SBN team members.

They’ll be handed out to children at five hospitals around the area, offering companionship for children during a difficult time.

Over the last twelve years, the Bears in the Air program has provided nearly 20,000 teddy bears to children, and a cash donation to the Robert L. Miller Sr. Veteran’s Center will take place in January.
