Michigan’s Capitol was evacuated Wednesday morning after a bomb threat.
The Michigan State Police said a threat was emailed to a general account around 7:45 Wednesday morning, and they don’t consider it to have been credible.
At 11 a.m. troopers were using K-9 teams to check the grounds. Similar threats were sent to other state capitols, as well. In the interest of caution the capitol grounds in Lansing were closed for the entire day.

Kentucky, Connecticut, Georgia, Mississippi and Montana are among the other states that received bomb threats Wednesday morning and evacuated their capitol buildings.
