A Niles man was sentenced to prison, after not stopping at a property damage collision.
Bruce Richard Sater, 70, pleaded guilty to fleeing police and failing to stop.
He was sentenced to 12 months to five years in prison. He must pay nearly $250 in fines and costs.  It happened in September of last year in Niles Township.
Sater hit a parked car. Leader Publications reports that the judge said Sater should not blame his actions on getting old, since he has had a criminal record.
