Karamo effort to chair Mich. GOP dealt another blow

The continuing leadership battle saga in Michigan’s Republican Party dealt a blow Tuesday to ousted party chair Kristina Karamo.

A judge rejected Karamo’s request to dismiss the lawsuit that seeks to force her out of the chairmanship.

Arguments continue this week as her opponents seek a preliminary injunction and declatory ruling against Karamo. The national GOP has recognized her replacement, former Ambassador Pete Hoekstra, as the true state party Chairman.
