A man is in custody following a police chase that ended Friday morning near the Elkhart Airport, just south of County Road 6.

The pursuit began when officers attempted to stop a potentially stolen vehicle in North Nappanee Street and Kilbourn Street around 5:20 a.m.

The person driving the car fled, leading to a chase that ended when the suspect abandoned the vehicle at Aeroplex Drive and Kinro Court.
