After a fight on a school bus with two students, Niles Community Schools responds.

The community became aware of the fight, after a video was posted online, showing a fifth-grader beating a younger student. Superintendent Dan Applegate says there was action by the school and police department before the video was even posted.

He says the buses have video cameras and that the bus driver followed safety protocols, waiting for it to be safe to pull over and then intervene. Leader Publication reports that the Code of Conduct committee will meet today to review the incident.
