Local contractors in South Bend have been granted the opportunity to review plans for expansion of Four Winds Field and submit their bids.

The proposed enhancements include a new upper deck featuring private indoor suites, expanded seating to accommodate approximately 10,000 fans per game, upgraded concessions, additional bars and party areas, and a four-story multipurpose building linked to the left field.

Bidding is scheduled to start early next month, with the work slated to begin in September following the Cubs’ final home game.
