16-year-old facing charges connected to shooting at University Park Mall

A 16-year-old has been connected in the shooting at University Park Mall.

Police focused on the teen after responding to a victim with a gunshot wound to the foot, early Monday morning, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.

They found the teen linked to the mall incident from Saturday.

The teen faces charges including Dangerous Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Carry of a Firearm by a Juvenile and was taken to the Juvenile Justice Center.
