If you live or work in LaPorte County, you are encouraged to join other Hoosiers and businesses in lowering your flags this coming Monday.
Governor Holcomb is asking that flags across the county be flown at half-staff in honor of volunteer firefighter Kenneth Caldwell, who recently died at the age of 63.
Caldwell died “during a medical emergency” after helping to address a brush fire.
