Man found unconscious after crashing into multiple parked cars

A 68-year-old man crashed into five parked cars in Elkhart County. It happened around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25,  on State Road 15, just north of Broadmore Drive.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the man had a medical emergency, causing him to cross the center line and go off the road.
He hit a light post and then drove into the Jefferson Community Church parking lot, where he collided with a parked car. This set off a chain reaction, damaging five unoccupied vehicles.
Authorities found the man unconscious and having trouble breathing.
