One person has been taken to the hospital after the South Bend police say they were stabbed Friday afternoon.

Officers were called just after 3 p.m. on Friday, July 12, to the 200 block of N. Brookfield Street.

Police say one male victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.

There is no information at this time about a potential suspect.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
