No injuries reported in South Bend house fire

No injuries were reported when South Bend Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 3400 block of Curtiss Drive.
Crews were called around 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, and were met with smoke coming from a second story window.
The fire was extinguished within the first 10 minutes.
Residents of the structure exited safely. Two small dogs were found in the structure and taken to safety. One cat was unable to be located.
The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation.
