Two people have been charged in connection with a homicide in South Bend.
It was January of 2023 when South Bend Police were called to the 500 block of South 29th Street on the report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found Justin Stewart, 31, who died from gunshot wounds.
Through the investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit, Christopher Brown, 34, and London Davis, 30, were identified as suspects and arrested.
The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Brown with Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder. Davis has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
