One person was killed in a shooting on South Bend’s west side.

It was around 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, when South Bend Police were called to the 3600 block of West Sample Street on a Shot-Spotter notification.

On arrival, officers found the victim, Isaiah Walton-Davis, 20, who died due to his injuries.
