Berrien County inviting community to offer thoughts on five-year parks plan

(95.3 MNC)

The Berrien County community is invited to offer thoughts on the latest Parks Five Year Plan.

The plan outlines development goals for the county’s seven parks, and they’ll be holding two open houses to present the plan and gather suggestions.

The first is happening on September 18 at Madeline Bertrand County Park at 5;30. The second open house will be on September 19 at the County Administration Center in St. Joseph at 11:30 a.m.

The five-year parks plans are necessary for the county to qualify for any state grants, and this new plan is being built upon the previous five-year plan.
