Police in Elkhart County caught up with a man wanted on a warrant for child molestation.

Indiana State Police say Bernardo Revelez Tapia, 42, of California molested a 12-year-old girl who met on Snapchat.

He allegedly traveled to the girl’s home in Greene County, picked her up and they traveled to Bedford where the molestation happened. He then reportedly drove the girl back to her home, and drove to Northern Indiana.

Police traced Tapia to Elkhart and closed in. He was arrested on two counts of mplestation, two counts of rape, and two counts of strangulation.
