The Drug Enforcement Administration is sponsoring this year’s nationwide ‘Prescription Drug Take Back’ initiative.

The Indiana State Police is partnering with them to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft through proper disposal of prescription drugs.

The event is happening on Saturday from 10 until 2 at all Indiana State Police Posts excluding the Toll Road Post.

You can take your expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs to have them properly disposed of without threat to the environment.

They’ll be taking liquid and pill medication, as well as vaping pens without batteries and vaping cartridges. It’s a completely free and anonymous service.
