It’s a 140 year prison sentence for a Middlebury man convicted on 10 counts of child molestation and sexual misconduct charges.

Phillip Beachey, 47, was found guilty of molesting a relative during a four-year period of time, according to The Goshen News.

The victim, who is now an adult, testified about the abuse, which occurred from 2014 to 2018, starting when she was 10 years old.

The Indiana Department of Child Services was notified in February 2020, after the victim confided in a relative.

Medical records confirmed some past assault-related injuries. Beachey has denies the charges and plans to appeal.
