Bakers of all ages and skill levels are invited to enter Santa’s Gingerbread Village Competition.

Handmade gingerbread houses can be dropped off, fully assembled, to the downtown Courtyard by Marriott lobby on December 4 and 5 where they will be on display for public viewing until the 24th.

Prizes will be awarded to entries in five categories: non-professional child, non-professional adult, non-professional family or group, professional individual or group and people’s choice.

Entries will be judged on originality, design, craftsmanship, degree of difficulty and overall appearance, and winners will be recognized in an award ceremony on December 14. Registration is free and can be completed on the Downtown South Bend website.
