A man accused of running away with a teenager has been sentenced for sex crimes.

The victim’s mother reported that her 15-year-old daughter was in a sexual relationship with 29-year-old Justin Richardson and that the two had ran away together in 2023.

According to the victim, she had known Richardson for about five years and said that they had been in a sexual relationship for a few months.

She also said Richardson had been giving her meth. Despite Richardson denying the allegations, evidence of certain sexual activity was found on a cell phone.

The Goshen News says Richardson pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a total of 12 years with four to be served at the Indiana Department of Corrections, two served on Community Corrections and the remaining six years on reporting probation.
