Man arrested, suspected of Little Casesar’s Pizza robbery

A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery at a South Bend pizza shop.

It was around 7:40 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, South Bend Police were called to the Little Caesars in the 3600 block of E. Edison Road on the report of a robbery. An employees told 9-1-1 dispatchers that they believed the suspect was armed.

Officers arrived to find a person matching the suspect’s description being held down by employees outside the business. He was then taken into police custody.

The suspect, Jordan Sanders, 32, was arrested and transported to the St. Joseph County Jail. He was ultimately found not to be armed.
