Indiana State University plans to launch a forensics major that combines elements from multiple fields, opening new career paths for students.
The program develops a range of skills to prepare students for roles in forensics and related professions.
Students select either the forensic science track, focusing on chemistry, physics, biology, and lab work, or the forensic studies track.
The forensic science option is designed for those pursuing graduate school or careers in crime labs.
