DLZ Indiana, LLC will be holding an open house for South Shore Line’s South Bend Airport Realignment project.
DLZ, which was awarded the engineering contract by NICTD in 2022, is working to realign the South Shore Line to improve safety and efficiency. The South Shore Line station will be moved from the airport terminal’s east side to its west side.
They’re looking to reduce the travel time between South Bend and Chicago. DLZ’s open house will offer updates on the design, its impacts, environmental assessment and more.
It’s happening on January 28 at Dickinson Intermediate Fine Arts Academy from 6 to 8 p.m.
