An 18-year-old accused of burglary has been found competent to stand trial.

Charles Witham is believed to have burglarized Janus Motorcycle in April. Police say Witham was caught on surveillance breaking into the store and stealing over a thousand dollars in gear, including a jacket and helmet.

The next day, the Goshen News says he was spotted wearing the items nearby and resisted arrest, slightly injuring two officers.

A doctor had been assigned to evaluate his competency, and Witham was found competent to stand trial. His trial is scheduled for March 31.
