Cass County drug team arrests suspect in meth investigation

A joint investigation led by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team resulted in the arrest of a 46-year-old woman on drug charges, authorities announced Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, detectives, working alongside the Michigan Department of Corrections, executed a search at a home in the 66000 block of Union Road in Porter Township. During the search, officers discovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and evidence of drug distribution.
The suspect was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Her name is being withheld pending arraignment in the 4th District Court.
The investigation remains ongoing.
