Motorcycle chase ends in arrest on County Road 17

A high-speed motorcycle pursuit ended in a crash and arrest after a suspect attempted to flee from law enforcement, authorities said.
Goshen officers attempted to stop a motorcycle near the intersection of County Road 17 and Missouri Avenue, on Friday evening, March 14, when the rider failed to yield, initiating a chase. The pursuit ended when the suspect lost control and crashed.
The rider, identified as Michael Leach, 33, of Goshen, was taken into custody at the scene. He was transported to Goshen General Hospital for medical evaluation before being booked into the Elkhart County Jail.
Leach faces multiple charges, including resisting law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of paraphernalia.
