After nearly two decades leading Penn-Harris-Madison Schools, Superintendent Dr. Jerry Thacker has announced his retirement.
Thacker will step down in July, according to a letter he sent to P-H-M teachers, staff, students, and families.
P-H-M School Board President Chris Riley praised Thacker — saying they’re grateful for his years of leadership and dedication.
Under his leaderhip, PHM says the graduation rate rose from from 79% to 98%, ranking in the top 4% of the state academically.
Details about the search for the district’s next superintendent will be announced in the coming weeks.

Get out before the investigations and charges come. Seems like a good plan.

Thacker has ruined PHM schools with his leftist DEI policies. Even the vaunted graduation rate is a joke with as far as the standards have been lowered to get there…

Chris Riley praising Thacker is NOT a good thing.
