Jury trial continued for woman accused of driving while intoxicated

A woman accused of driving while intoxicated is facing several felony charges.

20-year-old Rachel Sherman was allegedly driving intoxicated during a crash that hospitalized two Elkhart bikers.

The Goshen News says Sherman has been charged with four counts of causing catastrophic injury when operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated as well as four counts of causing serious bodily injury when operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Her jury trial has been continued to July 7.
