Blue pinwheels spin for Child Abuse Prevention Month

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, which means you may see blue pinwheels spinning outdoors around the community.
CEO of CAPS, Rebecca Shelter Fast, says blue pinwheels are a sign to let people know that children need to be safe, especially around adults.
Last Thursday, a “Rally for Kids” event was hosted, and official and government leaders gathered for it in honor of keeping kids safe.
Fast says the even reached more kids and families, but they figured more people are going through distress, neglect, and financial struggles.
