A LaPorte man has been found guilty by jury for crimes against children.

The verdict came was handed down to Ron Deming, 38, for receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography after a two-day jury trial in U.S. District Court in South Bend.

Deming’s sentencing is set for August 14.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations with help from the Indiana State Police and the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office.
