Suspect arrested in connection with murder

The Lincoln Township Police Department has arrested a 62-year-old in connection with a homicide investigation.

Officers responded to Ray’s Motel on Red Arrow Highway on April 14 after a man discovered his friend dead in his room.

An autopsy was performed on the victim, a 62-year-old man, with blunt force trauma found as the cause of death.

Police arrested a 34-year-old Coloma Township man on May 9 in connection to the murder. He’s facing various felony charges along with open murder.
