A 63-year-old Lakeland, Florida man has been found guilty of abusive sexual contact and interference with the duties of a flight crew member during a flight from St. Petersburg to South Bend.

The suspect, Stephen Forte, was found guilty after a one-day jury trial in U.S. District Court in South Bend.

Forte’s sentencing is scheduled for early September and will be determined by the Federal judge.
