Driver injured after vehicle rolls in Elkhart County crash

A 21-year-old Elkhart man was hospitalized following a rollover crash caused by hydroplaning on a rain-slicked road.
The crash occurred around 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, on County Road 30, east of County Road 9.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, a 2025 Toyota Camry was traveling westbound when it hit a patch of water buildup on the roadway. The vehicle began to hydroplane, left the roadway, entered a ditch, and rolled several times before coming to rest.
The driver complained of neck pain. He was transported to Elkhart General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
