A man accused of burglarizing That Church on The Rise in Elkhart has been given a trial date.

A staff member reportedly found Zeus Bush lying on the church stage in April. The staff member said she noticed a broken window while calling police, and a K-9 unit was later able to find Bush outside.

He stated that he had previously visited the church and returned for first aid supplies.

The Goshen News says the kitchen had been visibly rummaged through.

A public defender was appointed for Bush, and his trial was scheduled for August 4.
