Mishawaka police are actively investigating a series of incidents involving criminal mischief that occurred overnight, Saturday night, May 31 to Sunday morning, June 1. At least 14 vehicles and one residence were targeted, all seemingly damaged by BB gun shots.

The vandalism primarily affected vehicles parked in the 700 through 1200 blocks of East Third Street and the 1400 block of Southwood Drive within the Village Green Trailer Park. Mishawaka Police Department officials reported that the damage consisted of broken or shattered windows on vehicles, while one home in the trailer park sustained a punctured siding.

Authorities are urging neighbors to review any outdoor security camera footage they may have captured during the incident. They are specifically requesting footage that shows suspicious individuals or the acts of vandalism occurring. Such footage can be pivotal in advancing the investigation.

Anybody with information regarding these incidents is encouraged to contact the Mishawaka Police Department’s Detective Bureau at 574-258-1684. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-7867 (STOP).
